Here's what I did yesterday on flights from San Diego to Kansas City, then Kansas City to Washington DC (though in all fairness, this photo was taken after the SAN-KC leg):

Provided with such a concise, colorful, and well photographed description, the day doesn't seem half as bad in retrospect as it seemed to unfold in real time. Oh, and I'm getting a hat! A reward of sorts for yet another successful adventure through our nation's ariel transit system. Go team puppy dog eyes patience!
